The world’s most famous jockey Frankie Dettori has given his backing to Goodwood Racecourse’s inaugural food-themed race night – ‘A Taste of Sussex, Goodwood and beyond…’

As well as six spectacular races, the evening will be showcasing food and drink from local Sussex producers and suppliers. Highlights will include opportunities for racegoers to sample a range of locally produced food
displayed on the Goodwood lawns, plus the chance to meet and discuss food and drink with the specialists from Waitrose.
Dettori is no stranger to English food culture and since 2004 has owned a chain of restaurants, Frankie’s Bar and Grill, with renowned chef and Hells Kitchen presenter Marco Pierre White.

Goodwood’s renowned Estate Farm Shop will be displaying some of the best produce from the Estate alongside other local and seasonal fresh food.
