CHELTENHAM GEARS UP FOR THE FESTIVAL WITH THE UK’S BIGGEST PREVIEW EVENING

Jockey Ruby Walsh and trainer David Pipe will be headlining a star-studded panel of racing guests at the Paddy Power sponsored Festival Preview – the  only official Cheltenham Festival preview – which takes place at the racecourse on Friday 9th March.

Hosted by Channel 4 racing’s Mike Cattermole, Walsh and Pipe will be joined by at the races Irish expert Dave Duggan and the punter-friendly bookmaker, Paddy Power.

Just five days out from the start of the world’s most famous National Hunt meeting, the panel will be giving their informed opinions, inside news and tips on all the key Festival races.

Paddy Power, Head of Communications for the bookie said, “This Preview evening promises to be the biggest ever staged in the build up to The Festival and we hope to be able to provide everyone who comes along on the night with some winning tips for the following week, especially with the Nicholls-Pipe stable duo.”

Organised in association with the event founders, the Cheltenham and Three Counties Race Club, the Festival Preview will take place at the Centaur at the racecourse. Tickets are £20 and are available on the door, with all proceeds being donated to the Injured Jockeys Fund. The lively format will provide a fun and informative evening for everyone who attends.

As well as the panel, there are a host of additional activities taking place on the night. The complete range of Festival trophies will also be on display and there will also be free prize draws to win tickets to The Festival and other prizes.
